About the Role
In this teaching intensive role you will provide contemporary education in the discipline of General Practice across the University of Wollongong Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. This includes curriculum (review, development, documentation) and contribution to teaching as well as contribution to assessment content development. This position will support the integration of General Practice discipline-specific teaching across all Phases of the medical program.
The position holder will also draw on their clinical and education networks to broaden opportunities for medical student teaching, either within their workplace/location, or across the Graduate School of Medicine’s network of rural and regional partner health care facilities across the state.

What You’ll Bring
You are a qualified medical graduate eligible for unrestricted specialist registration as a General Practitioner of Rural Generalist in Australia. Your background includes delivering high quality clinical and medical education, with experience in curriculum and assessment development within a medical training environment. You are comfortable contributing to leadership and administrative responsibilities and working across a distributed education network.
You bring a collaborative approach to teaching and mentoring, alongside strong interpersonal skills and experience contributing to research and scholarship. A commitment to ongoing professional development, culturally respectful practice, and inclusive learning environments is central to how you work with students, colleagues, and communities.
