The firm works purely with high net-worth clients across Sydney, across various areas of law, including wills, estates, property, trusts, and much more.
The Role:As a Senior Legal Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the firm's legal processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Diary Management
- Administrative Tasks
- Providing Support to Lawyers as needed
- Word Processing (10% of the job)
- Managing Documents, including handwritten changes, rebuilding, and reformatting
You will also be expected to undertake float work and utilise Practice Evolve, contributing your expertise gained from prior experienc in a smaller firm. Clear communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage a substantial workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
The Candidate:We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates a genuine 'care factor' for their work and possesses a mature approach to their responsibilities. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment where their to-do list may exceed their capacity, yet they remain organised and composed under pressure. The main requirements include:
- Minimum 4 years as a legal secretary, ideally in a small firm or small team
- Proficiency in Word Processing
- Familiarity with Practice Evolve is desired, though not essential
- Previous experience with extensive diary management
- Ability to work full-time in the office, 8:30am - 5:30pm
