About the Role

An established national industrial business is seeking a highly capable Senior Manager - Commercial & Operations to lead and elevate commercial performance across the organisation.

Based in Erskine Park, this senior leadership role is responsible for driving strategic initiatives that deliver sustainable, profitable growth. The position holds national accountability for Category Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain and pricing ensuring strong alignment to business objectives and customer needs.

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team , you will act as a trusted commercial advisor, guiding decision-making and fostering strong cross-functional collaboration to deliver improved sales performance, stronger supplier relationships, and a more agile supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and motivate national initiatives
• Own and execute the national strategy for Category, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Pricing
• Develop and implement pricing and margin strategies to support profitable growth
• Build and strengthen strategic supplier relationships and commercial agreements
• Drive supply chain agility and improved speed through cross-functional collaboration
• Partner with senior leaders to influence strategic and operational decisions
• Coach and develop commercial capability across the business
• Drive continuous improvement through data-led insights and performance metrics

About You

You are a commercially focused leader with experience operating at a national level with experience either across industrial, manufacturing, or distribution based environments. You combine strategic thinking with the ability to execute, influence, and lead change.

You will bring:

• Proven experience in a senior commercial role with strong expertise in pricing, category, supply chain
• Experience leading national teams and complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Demonstrated success driving profitable growth
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, coaching, and communication skills
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with a data-driven mindset
