About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Digital Commercialisation & Growth, the Senior Manager Digital Commercialisation Performance is accountable for the performance framework, measurement capability, analytics and insight generation that underpin Digital Commercialisation & Growth.

The role owns the definition of business objectives, success measures and performance standards across Digital Commercialisation & Growth, ensuring leaders and teams have clear visibility of outcomes, value delivery and opportunities for optimisation. The role is accountable for providing actionable insights, reporting and analytics that inform investment decisions, prioritisation and growth opportunities.

The role also owns digital measurement, tracking governance and analytics platforms, ensuring data quality, consistency and integrity across digital channels. By establishing robust measurement frameworks and translating data into commercial insights, the role enables data-driven decision making and continuous optimisation across acquisition, origination and customer engagement journeys.

What will your day look like?

Performance Framework Ownership

• Own the Digital Commercialisation & Growth performance framework.


• Define business objectives, success measures and performance standards across Digital Commercialisation & Growth.


• Establish consistent performance measures across acquisition, origination, engagement and optimisation activities.


• Ensure business outcomes are measurable, transparent and aligned to strategic priorities.

Reporting, Analytics & Insights

• Deliver insights, reporting and analytics that support investment, prioritisation and optimisation decisions.


• Identify drivers of performance and opportunities to improve growth, conversion, engagement and customer outcomes.


• Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for leaders and delivery teams.


• Establish clear performance narratives for executive decision making.

Measurement & Tracking Governance

• Own digital measurement frameworks, tracking standards and governance practices.


• Ensure consistent implementation of tagging, tracking and measurement across digital channels.


• Establish controls that maintain data quality, integrity and compliance.


• Lead adoption of best practices for digital measurement and performance management.

Analytics Platform Ownership

• Own the roadmap, governance and ongoing effectiveness of digital analytics and performance platforms.


• Partner with Technology and Data teams to improve platform capability and reliability.


• Ensure analytics tooling supports business decision making, experimentation and optimisation.


• Drive continuous enhancement of reporting and self-service analytics capabilities.

Optimisation & Decision Support

• Enable data-driven optimisation through measurement frameworks, dashboards and insight generation.


• Support experimentation, CRO and personalisation programs through robust performance measurement.


• Ensure investments and prioritisation decisions are informed by objective performance data.


• Establish insight-to-action loops that improve business outcomes.

Leadership & Capability

• Build and lead high-performing analytics, reporting and performance capability.


• Develop a culture of evidence-based decision making across Digital Commercialisation & Growth.


• Improve performance literacy and adoption of measurement frameworks across teams.


• Foster continuous improvement through transparency, accountability and insight-led action.

What will you bring?

Critical knowledge, skills and experience required for this role:
 

Digital Performance Management

• Extensive experience developing and managing enterprise performance frameworks and KPI structures.


• Proven ability to align business objectives, performance measures and strategic outcomes.


• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect performance metrics to business value.

Analytics & Insight Leadership

• Significant experience delivering analytics, reporting and actionable insights in complex organisations.


• Ability to translate large and complex datasets into meaningful business recommendations.


• Experience influencing investment, prioritisation and optimisation decisions through data.

Digital Measurement & Tracking

• Deep understanding of digital measurement frameworks, tagging methodologies and tracking governance.


• Experience implementing and governing digital analytics standards across multiple channels.


• Strong knowledge of digital customer journeys, conversion measurement and behavioural analytics.

Analytics Platform Ownership

• Experience managing enterprise analytics and reporting platforms.


• Ability to define platform roadmaps and capability improvements that support business outcomes.


• Experience partnering with technology and data teams to improve analytics capability and data integrity.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Proven ability to lead analytics, reporting and measurement teams.


• Strong stakeholder management skills across Product, Marketing, Technology, Risk and Executive leadership.


• Ability to communicate performance outcomes and strategic recommendations clearly and confidently.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Digital, Technology or a related discipline.


• Power BI, Tableau or equivalent analytics platform accreditation.


• SQL, data visualisation or business intelligence certifications.


• Digital measurement and analytics implementation certifications.

Desirable, but not mandatory, knowledge, skills and experience:

• Background in financial services, banking or similarly regulated industries.


• Experience supporting experimentation, CRO and personalisation programs.


• Knowledge of customer decisioning and campaign performance measurement.


• Experience implementing enterprise dashboarding and self-service analytics solutions.


• Experience working within Agile, Product or Platform operating models.


• Understanding of attribution modelling and marketing performance analytics.
