Senior Manager - IB&M Finance Forecasting, Planning and CommBank iQ

This role sits at the centre of how Institutional Banking & Markets performs. You'll lead and contribute to forecasting, planning and financial governance that supports executive decision making, strengthens commercial outcomes and helps the business plan for the future.

You'll join a high impact Finance team supporting the IB&M business and IB&M CFO, focused on building capability and delivering commercially relevant insights. Reporting to the Executive Manager, you'll support and guide a team of 3-4 finance professionals, fostering an environment where people feel trusted, supported and encouraged to do their best work.

Your impact:

• Coordinate end to end forecasting and planning across the IB&M portfolio

• Steward the IB&M budget, ensuring transparency and financial discipline

• Generate commercial insights that inform senior stakeholders and business priorities

• Lead ongoing engagement with the CBIQ Leadership Team (our joint venture with Quantium)

• Financial control and/or advisory experience with a technology start-up

• Partner closely with the IB&M CFO, Group Finance, IB&M Leadership and business partners

• Enhance financial oversight and help surface strategic and emerging risks

• Drive efficiency, simplification and continuous improvement across IB&M Finance

• Enhance finance infrastructure, data quality and automation to support scalable ways of working

• Strengthen reporting and visualisation to support clear, accessible and timely insights

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

• Experience leading and/or supporting forecasting, planning and financial performance outcomes

• A background developing and supporting high performing finance teams

• Forecasting, budgeting and commercial analysis capability

• Experience contributing to process improvement, simplification or automation initiatives

• The ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders

• Experience supporting financial oversight and risk awareness
