Key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the primary interface between researchers, business stakeholders, vendors and technical teams to support and enhance enterprise research systems.

  • Delivering highquality, authoritative advice to senior leaders on system capability, sector trends and related policies and procedures.

About You

You are an experienced and confident leader who thrives in complex, fastpaced environments. You bring a strong service mindset, the ability to influence diverse stakeholders, and a passion for improving systems and processes that enable research excellence.

You will have:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field and extensive experience, or an equivalent combination of highlevel education, training and leadership experience.

  • Demonstrated experience leading, motivating and developing professional teams.

  • Strong understanding of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, the higher education sector and universitybased research lifecycles and management systems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to produce clear executivelevel advice and translate complex or technical concepts for nontechnical audiences.

  • Highlevel digital literacy, with the ability to independently initiate, manage and deliver projects within defined timeframes.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and manage competing priorities.

About UQ

As part of the UQ community, you will work alongside inquisitive, ambitious and inclusive colleagues from across the globe, united by a shared purpose of creating change together. UQ is recognised internationally for research excellence and strong industry and community partnerships, supported by robust systems and infrastructure that enable impact at scale.
