Senior Manager, Strategic Applications

The Opportunity

We are a global law firm at the forefront of legal innovation, AI and technology-enabled delivery. Our Digital Legal Delivery (DLD) team partners with clients and our internal legal teams to re-imagine how legal services are designed, delivered and scaled.

We're seeking a Senior Manager to join our Strategic Applications team and play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and delivering our legal technology capability across the region.

What you'll do

As a senior leader within our DLD practice, you will combine strategic thinking, deep legal tech expertise, and people leadership to deliver high-impact legal technology solutions for both internal legal teams and external clients.

You will:

• Lead delivery of innovative workflow, automation and AI-enabled solutions across major client and internal projects.
• Own the roadmap for our Strategic Applications suite, ensuring platforms are effective, well-governed and continually evolving.
• Engage directly with partners and clients to identify opportunities, solve delivery challenges and expand adoption of digital legal solutions.
• Manage and develop a high-performing team, setting priorities, building capability and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Drive operational and financial performance, contributing to revenue growth, utilisation, robust project delivery and vendor oversight.
• Collaborate across Digital, IT and Change to assess new technologies, manage upgrades and ensure seamless integration within the firm's ecosystem.
• Champion best practice and risk management, ensuring all solutions meet firm-wide standards for security, governance and quality.

What you'll bring

• 7+ years delivering technology solutions within regulated services environments, with a strong focus on legal sector innovation.
• Strong experience in legal technology platforms, such as document automation, workflow and contract lifecycle management solutions (e.g. SharePoint, Contract Express, Neota Logic, ShareDo, Legatics, DocuSign, Kira, Luminance).
• Hands-on experience with workflow automation, low-code platforms and data visualisation, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
• Proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams.

• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• Confident translating technical concepts into clear, practical solutions.
• Experience working with AI-enabled legal tools and an appetite for emerging technology (coding knowledge desirable).
