A bit about your role
As the Senior Manager, Strategic Planning & Deal Governance, you will lead the planning and governance of revenue, technology capex and opex to support the delivery of the nbn network to newly built properties. You will shape the governance framework for greenfield developments and provide robust, data‑driven business cases. You will work closely with Finance, Pricing & Commercial teams, and SEO to secure resources and partnerships that win developments and accelerate customer activation on newly constructed networks.
Your expertise a strategic leader will bring clarity to complex investment choices through advanced analytics and insight, building executive-ready dashboards and reports that illustrate performance and outcomes. You will generate comprehensive financial forecasts and consolidated reports to support strategic decision-making, investment tracking, and outcome reporting, while championing continuous improvement in reporting, analytics, and digital tool adoption.
A bit about you
You are a strategic thinker with proven experience in planning, governance frameworks and business case development, underpinned by a very strong commercial finance background. You have deep expertise in analytics and insight generation, and your advanced Excel and data visualisation skills enable you to translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations. You are confident navigating deal governance and pricing compliance, and you understand how regulatory frameworks—including ACCC and TIND—shape prudent, customer‑centred outcomes.
You thrive in collaborative environments, bringing diverse stakeholders along the journey with clarity and purpose. You are comfortable leading projects and change in complex settings, improving processes and adopting digital reporting. Familiarity with enterprise systems and tools—such as Salesforce—comes naturally, and experience across property development, construction or telecommunications helps you engage with developer partners with empathy and authority. Above all, you create momentum through inclusive leadership, thoughtful challenge and a pragmatic, solutions‑oriented approach that keeps nbn future‑ready and focused on lifting Australia’s digital capability.
