Senior M&E Planner

UGL is seeking an experienced M&E Planner to support the delivery of major hyperscale and mission-critical data centre projects across Sydney and Melbourne.

As part of the integrated UGL and CPB Contractors delivery model, you'll join a team trusted to deliver some of Australia's most complex infrastructure projects. The Role

As a Senior M&E Planner you will be responsible for developing and managing integrated project schedules across construction, commissioning and handover activities, ensuring certainty around key milestones, interfaces and delivery outcomes.

Working closely with Project Controls, Construction, Engineering, Commercial and Commissioning teams, you will drive planning performance across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project programmes from construction through commissioning and client handover.
• Lead sequencing, logic development and interface management across mechanical, electrical, ICT and commissioning scopes.
• Collaborate with delivery teams and subcontractors to validate methodologies, resource plans and programme assumptions.
• Identify schedule risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation and recovery strategies where required.
• Provide regular programme reporting, look-ahead schedules and critical path analysis.
• Support procurement planning and monitor long-lead equipment and key supply chain milestones.
• Coordinate closely with Project Controls and Commercial teams to ensure accurate forecasting and performance reporting.

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Planner delivering complex M&E packages on major building/mission critical projects
• Strong data centre, mission-critical, health or large-scale commercial project experience is beneficial.
• Advanced Primavera P6 capability with experience managing integrated master programmes.
• Strong understanding of commissioning, critical path management and interface coordination.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
