The Role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager - Social & PR, this is a hands-on role for a creative social, content and PR specialist who can turn ideas into work people want to watch, share and talk about.

You will help grow SEEK’s presence across Australia and New Zealand by creating high-performing social content, supporting the PR program and turning SEEK’s unique data into timely, compelling stories. You will move comfortably between strategy and execution including developing ideas, making content, managing projects, working with agencies and learning from results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, production, publishing, optimisation and amplification of always-on social and video content across SEEK’s Australia and New Zealand channels.
• Develop platform-native ideas that are distinctive, culturally relevant and aligned to audience and business priorities.
• Create content end-to-end, including concepts, scripts, briefs, talent coordination and platform adaptations alongside our video production partners
• Be confident on camera and encourage SEEKers, spokespeople and subject-matter experts to participate in social content.
• Help lead and deliver PR initiatives alongside SEEK’s PR agency, Corporate Communications and internal stakeholders.
• Turn SEEK data, research and insights into clear, credible and human stories that earn audience attention through social media.
• Support SEEK’s spokesperson program and ensure consistent messaging across social, PR and other channels.
• Lead cross-functional projects, managing priorities, timelines, stakeholders, risks and dependencies.
• Manage social and PR agency relationships, driving quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Managethe development and execution of an integrated social, PR and campaign calendar alongside the Integrated Marketing Campaigns team.
• Measure and report on performance, using insights to improve content, platforms, processes and future activity.

The Team

This role sits within the Social & PR team within the Integrated Marketing Campaigns team, one of the key functions of ANZ Marketing. The ANZ marketing team is responsible for the leading the development of the Australia and New Zealand marketing program, calendar of activity and the creation of all marketing campaigns. It aims to produce creative solutions that have cut-through and also generate shareability & talkability with our customers across the SEEK ANZ marketplaces. It’s ultimately about driving brand engagement.  

Key Relationships

• External relationships include social media and PR agencies, along with various suppliers, partners and SEEK clients
• Maintain a close working relationship with the SEEK’s Corporate Comms team to align on plans and initiatives
• Work closely with various stakeholders from across the business in Marketing, Product, Sales and Customer Service

• 5+ years marketing experience, with a high level of competency in Social, Content Production PR and/or Partnerships
• Strong social and content production experience, with a portfolio or examples of work that demonstrate sharp ideas and high-quality execution across relevant platforms.
• Confidence creating content end-to-end, from concept, scripting and briefing through to managing the production, publishing, optimisation and amplification.
• Comfort being on camera and the interpersonal confidence to encourage a wide range of people to participate in social content.
• A strong instinct for stories, with the ability to turn complex information, particularly data and research into simple, compelling and credible narratives.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders, peers and project teams across the marketing team and the broader business
• Strong project management capability, with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities and keep everything moving in the right direction, and pivot when required (being mindful of flow-on impacts)
• Experience managing creative, social, media and PR agency partners
• An outcome-focused approach, high attention to detail and genuine pride in the work you deliver.
