What will you do?

Join us on a 12-month fixed term contract as our Senior Manager Marketing Operations. This is a critical role supporting the Head of Marketing Operations to drive process alignment across the business, simplifying and automating the operating model to drive greater return.

The Senior Marketing Operations Manager plays a vital role in ensuring that activity is both insight and data lead and aligned to the strategic business objectives.

Exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration abilities will ensure you are able to drive success in our dynamic team.

This is a pivotal role where you can make a lasting impact across the business.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Development of the Marketing Customer & Trade Plan in conjunction with the Marketing leadership team

  • Creation and continuous improvement of key marketing processes aligned to Merchandise team’s critical path

  • Supporting workflow tools and Marketing budget reporting to support ongoing measurement and evaluation of Marketing effectiveness.

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate at least 7+ years of marketing leadership experience in a large scale big box retail environment with a tertiary qualification in Marketing. 

We're looking for a commercially savvy individual who will bring a curious and data-driven mind-set as well as a passion for all things Retail! 

To be successful in this role you will have experience as follows:

•    Extensive experience in an operational and strategic level marketing planning and management position
•    Well-developed marketing skills across the whole marketing spectrum; all-rounder
•    Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes
•    Workflow efficiency enhancement experience 
•    Experience in all aspects of delivering marketing projects
•    Capability in creating and managing a comprehensive communication plan 
•    Strong ability to effectively communicate with agencies, team members, multiple business functions and senior-level stakeholders 
•    Experience using workflow management tools such as Monday.com
•    Proven ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences, including developing and executing communication plans
•    Experience in creating presentations, project updates, and reports for marketing leadership and project committees. 
•    Extensive experience in budgeting and financial capabilities, focusing on ROI
•    Demonstrated experience leading and managing a medium to large sized cross functional team
