The role
The Senior Mass Fundraising Manager leads the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the Foundation's individual giving program, encompassing cash appeals, regular giving, donor acquisition, and bequest marketing. This is a senior delivery role with strategic accountability and the person in this role doesn't just execute campaigns, they shape the approach, own the creative and stewardship quality, and use data to drive decisions.
The role has direct oversight of the bequest program strategy and mid-value donor pipeline and operates within the strategic framework set by the Head of Mass Fundraising & Data Strategy — translating data warehouse insights, segmentation outputs, and income strategies into high-quality campaigns, donor journeys, and stewardship activity.
Reporting to the Head of Mass Fundraising & Data Strategy, this role is a cornerstone of the Mass Fundraising team's revenue engine and is responsible for the donor relationships and campaign delivery that underpin the Foundation's long-term income sustainability.
This is a 12-month fixed term position, full time hours, and is based at our corporate offices in South Brisbane.

Key criteria
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in individual giving, direct marketing or mass fundraising, with demonstrated leadership experience.
- Strong experience delivering and optimising multi‑channel fundraising campaigns, including digital, direct mail, EDM and telemarketing.
- Demonstrated experience in donor acquisition, retention and stewardship across the individual giving lifecycle.
- Experience designing and managing donor journeys and automated communications using CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Proven experience briefing, managing and evaluating external agencies and suppliers.
- Strong analytical and financial capability, including budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
- Excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills with a collaborative, solutions‑focused approach.
