Senior Mechanical Designer

We are on the search for a Mechanical Designer to join our Perth team!

This is an exciting time to be part of Wave International as we continue to expand our scope nationally and internationally, from concept to delivery in addition to feasibility, commodity and process studies. Presented is an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Designer based at our Perth QV1 Office.
 
In this role, you will be responsible for duties such as:

• Develop mechanical and mechanical support standard detail drawings
• Design Conveyor systems for greenfield and brownfield projects
• Assist in the preparation and development of project specific procedures
• Provide technical support to the greater business including project teams.
• Ensure the quality of deliverables in line with the relevant codes and standards, needs of the customer and regulatory authorities

Skills / Qualifications

• Proven experience in design drafting 
• Strong knowledge in applying relevant industry design practices and key national and international standards and codes
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, particularly the ability to communicate mechanical/piping/pipeline requirements to other members of the project team
• Ability to remain dynamic and agile, and work in a fast paced work environment
