About the Role

As an experienced mechanical engineer, you will lead the coordination and management of mechanical services designs delivery. You will offer optimal solutions to clients and engage in varied, stimulating projects. This position is ideal for a driven individual committed to excellence and eager to advance in building service design and client service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute Mechanical Engineering design within the team from project inception to completion. 

  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in project delivery and process.

  • Ensuring all interfaces (inter-discipline, client, implementation, vendor, etc) are identified and managed in the execution of all projects.

  • Managing assigned work to meet project needs and proactively collaborate with the team to ensure project goals are achieved.

  • Ensuring costs are effectively managed on assigned work, ensuring work is completed within budgeted timeframes. 

  • Engage in Business Development and Client liaison.

What you will bring to the role

  • Degree Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.

  • CPENG Credential.

  • Upwards of 8+ years of local experience in building services and consultancy.

  • Technical leadership capabilities - high level of proficiency in performing mechanical services engineering. 

  • Comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of relevant Australia building codes and standards.

  • High level of direct involvement in delivering large-scale projects.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to manage, lead and mentor
