About your opportunity:
Fixed term temporary part-time 15.2 hours per fortnight , commencing ASAP up to 04.03.2025.
The position utilises a range of evidence-based clinical assessment and treatment skills that can be used across settings (including tele- and video-conferencing) to provide best practice care to consumers and families impacted by eating disorders.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
- High level of clinical knowledge, expertise and skill relevant to eating disorder service delivery.
- Critical thinking and reasoning, advanced problem-solving skills and expert clinical judgement in relation to the psychological management of eating disorders.
- Ability to support and respect multidisciplinary team members, communicating effectively and demonstrating a commitment to the team and wider Mental Health Service Group.
- Ability to provide clinical supervision to staff and students, to ensure maintenance of clinical standards.
- Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with relevant stakeholders.
- Ability to positively contribute to the ongoing development of the service through clinical research and quality improvement.
Generous remuneration package value up to $30,555 p.m. comprising:
- Salary range of $62.75 to $67.53 p.h. (HP4)
- Annual leave with loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements:
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- Proof of qualification (Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Social Work) and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- Credentialed status with the Australian and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED) as an Eating Disorder Clinician is highly desirable.
- Appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be highly desirable.
- All employees of the Mental Health Service Group (MHSG) may be required to work in other areas of the Service.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
