Urgent requirement of Senior Network Engineer (Network Security) - Contract - Sydney

Requirements

Technical skills:

â¢ Strong hands-on and recent experience to firewalls (Juniper SRX, Fortinet, VMWARE NSX) with firewall analysis experience

â¢ Able to do low-level design of enterprise security architecture.

â¢ Enterprise Switching and Routing configuration experience (BGP/OSPF, VXLAN, VTP, BFD), IPS/IDS policy configuration, implementation and events analysis.

â¢ Exposure and working knowledge of a logging platform like Elastic, Splunk, etc.

â¢ Exposure to monitoring tools like Netscout, Solarwinds, Thousand-eyes, Accedian, etc. Automation and scripting skills (Python, JSON, Ansible, etc).

General Skills:

â¢ Strong presentation and communication skills.

â¢ Able to demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement, converting business requirements into technical requirements. Self-motivated and self-driven â¢ Collaboration and teamwork

â¢ Ability to handle pressure situations at work and prioritise delivery with multiple teams.

â¢ Ability to view existing processes, standards and compliance requirements and work on fine-tuning and improvements.

Duration: 06 Months and possible extension
