About the Job

Operational Risk – Equities & Fixed Income​

Within the Risk Division's Operational Risk team, and reporting to the Head of Operational Risk, you'll provide independent oversight of operational risk across our Equities and Fixed Income divisions.​

You'll work closely with our first-line teams, including Enterprise Risk Advisory and the Equities and Fixed Income COOs - acting as both a trusted partner and a constructive challenger. In this role, you'll help shape robust risk management practices, represent Operational Risk in change initiatives, and take direct ownership of the risk owned deliverables associated with our CFTC Swap Dealer activities.​

You'll also contribute directly to the evaluation of new business approvals affecting our Equities and Fixed Income businesses, ensuring operational risks are carefully considered from the outset. Throughout, you'll collaborate with risk colleagues and stakeholders acrossthe full front-to-back trade lifecycle.

About You

• 7-10 years’ experience in operational risk management within equities, fx, commodities or fixed income businesses​


• A strong understanding of the operational and conduct risks inherent in financial markets​


• A background in operational risk, internal audit, or a related discipline within a complex, international environment, with the ability to assess and challenge control frameworks​


• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence senior audiences and articulate complex risk topics clearly​


• A commercial, pragmatic, forward-looking mindset, with a talent for spotting emerging risks and offering practical, risk-based recommendations​
