Operations Associate - Corporate Actions Focus
Location: Sydney | Full-Time

We are partnering with a rapidly growing global fintech and trading platform that is transforming how investors access markets. With a strong presence internationally and a fast-scaling Australian business, this organisation is known for delivering innovative, data-driven tools and an intuitive trading experience to a large and engaged client base.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Operations team in Sydney, supporting a dynamic and evolving business at the forefront of the online trading space.

The Role:

This position sits within the Operations function and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of post-trade activities, with a strong emphasis on Corporate Actions management across domestic and international markets.

Key responsibilities include:

• End-to-end management of Corporate Actions, including dividends, rights issues, mergers, and other voluntary/mandatory events across global markets
• Oversight of daily securities settlement and remittance processes (including FX and equities)
• Managing client stock transfers and resolving settlement discrepancies with counterparties
• Daily reconciliation of trades, positions, and funding requirements
• Monitoring operational risk and escalating issues where required
• Working closely with compliance on AML/KYC requirements
• Supporting process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Participating in projects, system enhancements, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

About You:

• 5+ years' experience in operations within financial services, ideally in a broker, trading platform, or similar environment
• Strong, hands-on experience managing Corporate Actions (this is essential)
• Solid understanding of securities settlement, reconciliations, and post-trade processes
• Familiarity with ASIC/AUSTRAC regulatory frameworks
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Advanced Excel skills and strong problem-solving capability
