Senior Operations Manager - Luxury Shopping Destination

Spring Professional now has an exciting opportunity available as Senior Operations Manager working across an world-renowned luxury shopping, event and entertainment destination.

In this role the Senior Operations Manager you will lead a team of operations and maintenance professionals with a focus on maintaining a large shopping centre destination. This role also involves executing capital projects, ensuring compliance and providing a safe and secure environment for all.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and execute annual operations strategy.
• Manage all maintenance requirement alongside operations team for the shopping centre.
• Responsible for retail, commercial and residential assets.
• Achieve compliance for all essential safety measures requirements.
• Create Annual Asset life-cycle strategy.
• Present the assets to the highest possible standard every day for retailers, consumers, and staff.
• Develop and administer an operating and capital budget >$50M including associated planning and execution.
• Manage planning, delivery and stabilisation activities.
• Oversee the administration of all operational contracts.
• Establish quality standards aimed at exceeding customer and retailer expectations.

Ideal background:

• Building Management/Facilities Management/Operations experience (large assets)
• Experience in a shopping centre environment advantageous
• Experience across retail developments advantageous
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Initiative, professionalism & persistence
