About the role

Operating within a team environment and reporting into a highly supportive Payroll Manager, this role will see you processing complex end to end payroll, whilst providing high quality services to employees. This role would be suitable for an individual who is attentive and driven to succeed as well as performing the following:

Duties:

  • Process end to end payroll in a timely manner
  • Process leaves calculations, long service, maternity and parental leave
  • Interpret complex EBA's & Awards
  • Ability to mentor and guide members of the team
  • Demonstrate strong customer service to the highest level
  • Undertake terminations & redundancies
  • Adhere to all payroll related queries and manage the payroll query inbox
  • Mentoring junior payroll officers

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working within a large & complex payroll environment
  • Experience using Chris21 highly desirable
  • Proven experience performing end to end payroll
  • Strong understanding of EBA's & Awards
  • Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service
  • Proven ability to develop effective partnerships to proactively find solutions and efficiencies in processes
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and develop workplans to achieve deadlines
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
