Senior Payroll Officer $90K -$100K Northern Suburbs Perm

The Company

Robert Half is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Payroll officer for a highly regarded Non-for-Profit organisation based on the CBD fringe. This role will be a permanent opportunity.

Overseeing a large, driven, and supportive team in the Northern suburbs and reporting to the payroll manager, this role will require a Candidate to work in a high volume and dynamic work environment processing payments on a fortnightly and monthly basis and assist with new staff onboarding.

Proven high volume Payroll experience with the ability to work with complex payroll systems and award rates will be an advantage for this candidate.

The successful candidate will have experience managing small teams and will be looking to take their career to the next level.

This role will promote a flexible work from home model, with only a few days a month required on-site

The Role

Reporting to the Payroll manager, your duties will include:

• High Volume Payroll processing on a bi-weekly and monthly basis
• Adhering to a large amount of award and EBA rates
• Accurate entering of new staff data
• Ensure wages and Tax payments are compliant with regulation
• Mentoring and overseeing of the payroll team
• Allowance and benefit processing
• Ad-hoc duties as requested

Your Profile

To be successful you will have proven experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years' experience. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:

• Confident in high volume payroll
• Excellent Attention to detail
• Chris21 or similar Payroll systems experience
• Excellent Organisational Skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a team

The successful candidate will be immediately available, driven, focused, and dedicated to the company goals while maintaining a high calibre workflow.

This role offers remote working flexibility however may be required on-site occasionally
