Senior Payroll Officer - Rapid Progression

Leading Business requires an experienced Senior Payroll officer to join their friendly payroll team.

Working with your own portfolio of clients you will manage end to end payroll along with compliance and projects.

The company is growing and offers career growth.  They are working with a number of different clients using several payroll systems including Xero, Astute, 2Cloud9 and MYOB.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing and processing the weekly/fortnightly or monthly payrolls end to end for clients – permanent and casual staff
• Maintain and update employee personal records
• Providing advice on payroll related queries
• Prepare and run monthly payroll report.
• Preparation and Submission of payroll tax, PAYG, Workers Compensation and other compliance returns
• Payroll Reconciliations
• Compliance and Auditing for payroll tax, work cover and superannuation
• Engaging in project work involving payroll system implementation and redesigning legacy processes.

About You:

• Prior Payroll experience
• Prior experience in compliance and submission of payroll tax, work cover and superannuation
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong Excel Skills – V Look ups
• Ability to multi-task
• Proven experience in the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Sound knowledge of Award structures
