Senior Practitioner - Crisis Accommodation - Exciting Challenge

Our Client, a leading homelessness service, is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Practitioner to join their team based in the ACT. 
  
This role will involve;

• Deliver crisis intervention, transitional assistance, and outreach support within a structured case management framework, which encompasses the creation and implementation of individualized case management plans
• Proven ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors and navigate crisis situations
• Possesses resilience and adaptability, capable of responding positively to challenges and remaining flexible in the face of change
• Proficient in communication, with the ability to adjust communication styles to effectively engage various stakeholders

The requirements for this role include;

• Ideally Bachelor level qualified in Social Work, Social Science or Psychology (Diploma level in relevant field may be considered)
• Excellent experience in case management including managing risk assessments, case plans & reporting 
• Ideally have a background in AOD, Mental Health or Domestic Violence 

Additional Information 

• A number of probity checks are required including holding a current WWVP and undertaking a National police checks.
