About the Role
Team Global Express is looking for a Senior Procurement Manager – Parcels to play a critical strategic role in shaping and delivering procurement value across our Parcels business.
This is a high-impact position where you will partner closely with senior stakeholders to identify and execute value creation opportunities, drive cost-out initiatives, and influence commercial outcomes across a complex and fast-paced logistics environment. You’ll sit at the intersection of strategy and execution, owning procurement initiatives end-to-end while helping define how procurement enables broader business success.
With direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to work across multiple business units, this role is ideal for a commercially minded procurement leader who thrives in ambiguity and wants to be part of a business undergoing transformation.
What You’ll Do
Partner with business leaders to identify and deliver procurement-led value creation and cost optimisation opportunities
Develop and execute category strategies across both direct and indirect spend areas
Lead sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and complex commercial agreements to maximise value and manage risk
Play a key role in enterprise-wide cost-out programs, supporting cost-to-serve and efficiency initiatives
Influence stakeholders and drive alignment between procurement strategy and business objectives
Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, value delivery, and continuous improvement
Work cross-functionally across parcels, freight, and operational teams to embed best-practice procurement approaches
Navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities while delivering measurable outcomes
What You Bring
10+ years’ experience in procurement, with deep expertise in category management and sourcing
Experience across logistics, fleet, industrial, or manufacturing environments (parcels/logistics highly regarded)
Proven ability to identify and execute value creation and cost-out opportunities
Strong commercial acumen with expertise in contract management and supplier negotiation
Excellent stakeholder engagement and presentation skills, including exposure to senior leadership
Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Solid grounding in procurement fundamentals, governance, and best practice processes
