Senior Production Engineer

This position is responsible for ensuring Production plans are practicable and executable for the Mining Operation. The role will deliver operational instructions, to enable the business to meet its objectives in terms of production and cost. 

Strong communication and collaborative skills to enable integrated production instructions by incorporating detailed engineering designs with operational risks.

This role is based at Catalyst Metals, the owner and operator of the iconic Plutonic Gold Mine, located in the Eastern Gascoyne region of Western Australia.

Ideal Candidates will have:

• Tertiary Qualification in Mining Engineering
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the mining industry.
• Underground production experience in a mechanised hard-rock underground mine.
• Significant experience in all production co-ordination processes, from daily to monthly intervals.
• Experience in all aspects of mine design (lateral/vertical development and production).
• Strong experience using Deswik suite software, specifically planning functions.
• First Class Mine Manager’s Ticket desirable.
