Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Operations team based in Perth. This is a long-term secondment opportunity reporting to the Delivery Manager, responsible for managing front end projects with a key client.
Wood delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the oil and gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region’s most prominent producers, actively supporting operations in Western Australia, the Northern Territory, Kazakhstan, and Sakhalin.
Working in a key client ESC contract, you will be embedded in the client organisation while working to create delivery excellence across the assigned project portfolio, provide certainty and confidence to the client / project sponsor, and maintain robust control of project scope, schedule, cost and risk.

You will be an Australian citizen or hold Permanent Residency (PR) and able to work lawfully in Australia.
Ideally you will be suitably qualified in Engineering from a recognised institution and have a 5+ years of proven experience in the oil and gas brownfields EPC(M) sector in Australia, including 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar Project Management role. It is advantageous if you are a Project Management Professional (PMP), Associate in Project Management (APM) or hold an equivalent certification.
