This position is being offered on an 18-month fixed-term contract, based in Perth.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of a high‑impact, enterprise Data Strategy project. This 18‑month initiative will transform foundational data capabilities, enabling advanced analytics, improved governance, and AI‑driven self‑service insights across the organisation. 

With a project budget of approximately $4.5m and executive sponsorship at the highest levels, this role will play a critical part in mobilising and delivering a complex portfolio of work spanning data engineering, analytics, governance, and technology platform uplift.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, manage key dependencies (including Tableau Cloud migration, Snowflake Cortex enablement, and data pipeline uplift), and ensure the project delivers measurable business value aligned to strategic objectives. 

In this role, you will:

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of a multi‑stream data transformation project across an 18‑month roadmap 

• Drive project mobilisation activities including detailed planning, governance alignment with HBF delivery standards and stakeholder alignment 

• Manage delivery across multiple workstreams including data platform uplift, analytics platform migration, data governance uplift, and priority use cases 

• Establish and operate strong project governance, including reporting to Steering Committee and Project Control Group 

• Manage vendor engagement, procurement processes, and technology dependencies 

• Lead integrated planning across internal and external teams 

• Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change control 

• Ensure effective stakeholder engagement across business and technology functions 

• Drive benefits realisation aligned to strategic outcomes

• Lead and coach delivery teams to achieve high performance

• Delivery of key milestones aligned to roadmap and contractual deadlines 

• Effective governance and strong executive engagement
