Senior Project Manager

Job Overview

We're hiring at Octave The Senior Project Manager role owns end‑to‑end delivery of Octave solutions. You’ll lead complex projects across APAC, align teams, and get results that stick. We’re looking for someone who moves fast, stays sharp, and delivers with discipline. You’ll bring structure to complexity. Keep projects on track. And turn plans into real outcomes for our customers.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

You’ll manage delivery from start to finish.

• Lead projects through the full lifecycle, from kickoff to handover.


• Align teams, vendors, and stakeholders around clear plans.


• Track milestones, manage risks, and keep projects on course.


• Own scope and manage changes with transparency.


• Monitor budgets, P&L, and project financials.


• Run multiple projects at once while maintaining quality and pace.


• Build and manage detailed schedules and delivery plans.


• Oversee third-party contributions and ensure quality outputs.


• Keep stakeholders informed with clear, timely updates.


• Build strong working relationships across teams and partners.


• Lead conversations with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.


• Identify risks early and take action to manage them.


• Support pre-sales and ensure smooth transition into delivery.


• Coach and support team members where needed.


• Contribute to improving PMO practices and standards

Education / Qualifications

What you’ll bring

You’re experienced, steady, and clear in how you lead.

• 10+ years delivering complex software projects (vendor side).


• Experience working across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.


• A track record managing large or multi-stream initiatives.


• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and external partners.


• Strong commercial awareness, including budgets and forecasting.


• Clear communication—written and verbal.


• Ability to influence and align teams without direct authority.


• Understanding of governance, quality, and delivery controls.


• Familiarity with tools like MS Project or similar.


• Some travel may be required (local and international)


• Background and police checks will be part of the process

Nice to have:

• Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Scrum Master


• Exposure to DevOps, SAFe, or CI/CD environments


• Experience in high-availability or mission-critical settings


• Awareness of data security practices
