Job Description

• Full-time site presence to monitor HSSE, Quality, and Schedule controls and monitor contractor performance and outcomes.
• Understand and maintain detailed familiarity with the Contract Documents (Contract, Specifications and Design Documents).
• Understand and maintain detailed familiarity with the Contractor's Project Plans (including the Construction Program).
• Provide general administrative assistance to the Turner & Townsend Project Manager and Principals representative.
• Attend contractors daily morning coordination meetings, and assess impact on HSSE, schedule and performance requirements.
• Monitor and report on HSSE as required under the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
• Maintain a legible and accurate record of events in the daily site diary throughout the performance of the contractor's activities.
• Monitor, measure and inspect quality and progress of work at regular intervals and keep daily site diary records including detailed photo evidence of progress on site.
• Inspect construction activities are performed in accordance with the specific requirements of the Contract Documents in terms of HSSE, time and quality.
• Provide advice on non-conformances and methods of resolving non-conformances.
• Inspect Environmental protection systems and devices are installed and maintained prior to and during the performance of the construction activities.
• Engage with stakeholders (Contractor staff, Consultant team, the Project team etc.) so that stakeholders are kept informed of the current and planned activities.
• Supervise completion of all snag-lists until final acceptance by Queensland Health Project Director.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of all operational systems and equipment provided by head contractor.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Tier 1 contracting on Major Projects (preferably live hospital environments).
