Job Description - Senior Project Manager

Redpath Partners have been engaged by a boutique consultancy here in Sydney who are looking to bring on board a Senior Project Manager to join their growing national team. The company has done fantastically well to continue its growth through the difficulties of the last year and has a very strong pipeline of work moving forward. This role has come about as a result of that strong pipeline and an increase in the number of projects being won by the firm. The company focusses on a variety of sectors including residential, retails, commercial, hotels and are always looking at new opportunities to diversify their portfolio.

The Role

Run projects across the following sectors: commercial, residential, age care, hotels and retail
You will work across all areas of project management, these include budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk, planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout
You will run projects and establish the requirements of the project, create a scope of works, determine resource requirements, budget, schedule and create milestones of the project
Responsible for project proposals, complete bid analysis, evaluation interviews, recommend resources to client
Provide project guidance and direction to the project delivery resources in order to achieve project goals
Manage stakeholders and those involved in the project
Track and reports project progress against budget and schedule

The Candidate

The suitable candidate will have 5+ years experience in NSW as a minimum and must feel comfortable running a project completely autonomously
Experience working full lifecycle commercial and residential projects will be necessary
You will have worked for a project management consultancy or directly for a developer/asset owner in a project management capacity
You will have relevant tertiary education in construction management, project management, architecture or another relevant field
You must be very confident and capable in stakeholder management
