Senior Project Manager (Data Centres)

Deliver Mission-Critical Data Centre Projects

This isn’t a typical Project Manager role.

At TMX, you’ll be at the centre of delivering complex, large-scale data centre projects — high-availability, high-spec environments that demand precision across design, construction, and commissioning.

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership, bring structure to technical complexity, and drive outcomes across every phase of delivery. You’ll work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver mission-critical facilities from concept through to live operations.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data centre projects from design through to commissioning and handover


• Drive outcomes across time, cost, quality and operational readiness


• Coordinate across clients, designers, engineers, contractors and specialist vendors (M&E, ICT, commissioning)


• Work directly with clients to define technical and operational requirements (power, cooling, redundancy, resilience)


• Manage stakeholder relationships to align priorities and maintain delivery momentum


• Oversee design development, ensuring alignment with Tier requirements, redundancy strategies and uptime standards


• Drive procurement and tender processes, including long-lead equipment (generators, UPS, chillers)


• Support contractor and consultant selection and performance management


• Manage commercial aspects including contracts, variations and financial tracking


• Implement strong project controls across risk, programme, change and reporting


• Maintain disciplined governance and provide clear, timely updates to stakeholders


• Identify and manage delivery risks early, particularly around programme, supply chain and commissioning


• Navigate technical interfaces across base build, MEP systems, white space fitout and live environments


• Support commissioning, integrated systems testing and readiness for operations

What You Bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in construction or project management


• Strong site-based delivery background (builder, MEP contractor or specialist preferred)


• Experience delivering data centre, mission-critical, or highly technical infrastructure projects


• Understanding of core data centre systems (power, cooling, redundancy, commissioning)


• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and drive outcomes in complex, live environments


• Exposure to procurement, contracts and project controls


• Experience working around critical environments or live operations is a plus
