In this role, you'll:
Reporting to the Project Director responsible for projects in the South and South West region of Sydney, the Senior Project Manager Development will provide strategic leadership and high-level guidance across key phases of the project lifecycle, driving project assessments, governance processes, and operational delivery across multiple road infrastructure projects in accordance with best practice project management, contract management, planning, environmental, and asset management frameworks.
The role is responsible for leading the development of project proposals and concept designs, ensuring solutions align with customer needs, support land use development objectives, and integrate effectively with broader transport networks and modes.
The position oversees the development of an allocated program of major road capital projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed time, cost, quality, and risk parameters while meeting stakeholder, community, and government expectations.
Additionally, the Senior Project Manager Development ensures infrastructure projects comply with relevant legislative obligations, and policy requirements, supporting sustainable and efficient project development from strategic to concept design and environmental assessment.

As the Senior Project Manager Development, you will lead the strategic planning and development of major road infrastructure projects, ensuring investment decisions deliver long-term benefits for communities, customers, and the broader transport network.
You will provide expert leadership across all development stages of the project lifecycle, balancing competing priorities relating to scope, cost, quality, risk, and program while ensuring projects are developed in line with organisational objectives, governance requirements, and stakeholder expectations. You will build and maintain strong relationships with government, industry, community, and internal stakeholders, providing trusted advice that influences decision-making and supports business priorities.
