Senior Project Manager/Delivery Lead

Our client has a significant presence here in Australia and New Zealand. They are currently seeking an experienced Senior PM/Delivery Lead to join their dynamic technology team. As a SPM/Delivery Lead, you will play a key leadership role within our Platforms team, managing a large 10+ people team. You will be accountable for the team’s health, sentiment and performance. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing end-to-end delivery of multiple product initiatives using agile methods in cross-disciplinary teams. You will also be responsible for tracking project progress, developing business cases for funding requests, managing project budgets, and ensuring successful product delivery.

• End-to-end delivery of multiple product initiatives using agile methods in cross-disciplinary teams
• Manage iterations, scope, priorities, stakeholders, risks, issues and timelines
• Track and report project progress to stakeholders
• Use delivery metrics to continuously improve and optimise ways of working
• Develop business cases for funding requests and manage project budgets once businesses cases are approved
• Ensure that the products are delivered successfully and adhere to the agreed timeframe, budget, functional and quality objectives

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Project Manager role is an empathetic leader who can influence teams and outcomes through her highly developed interpersonal skills. She should have extensive experience working with and leading agile teams, coupled with a strong understanding of agile methodologies and framework. Experience or exposure working with the Oracle EBS Platform is a bonus. The ability to multi-task, prioritise decisions considering business value with a customer-first mentality is crucial.

• Extensive experience working with and leading agile teams. Ideally, you would have management experience of 10+ Direct Reports
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and framework
• Experience working with the Oracle ERP is preferred.
• Ability to work across a program of work coupled with strong demonstrated project management skills
• Prior experience working with senior level stakeholders utilising excellent communication skills
• Technical experience in software development projects as a developer, business analyst or similar is highly desirable
• You must be based here in Western Australia as this position is an on-site position.
