Senior Public Relations Account Manager - Growth-Minded Organization

Managing priority clients and accounts, you will use your storytelling superpowers and extensive media experience to plan, create and deliver campaigns that inspire audiences across all content channels.

As the Senior Public Relations Account Manager you will work closely with our multi-talented team of ex-journalists and communications specialists to foster strong client relationships while using media connections to secure a high volume of earned coverage.

Key role responsibilities:

• Full management of existing and new client accounts
• PR strategy creation, advice and content planning for retained clients
• Execute strategies and produce compelling content to achieve consistent media results
• Repurpose stories for use across client-owned channels
• Attend client meetings, manage media events and video shoots
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, media contacts and other stakeholders

More about you:

• Relevant qualifications and a minimum of seven years' experience in public relations or strategic communications
• Excellent news judgment, writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Advanced interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
• Organised and efficient time management across competing demands and deadlines 
• A strong eye for detail and dedication to accuracy 
• Previous agency experience advantageous
