Senior Python Engineer Trading & Research Systems

What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain high-performance Python applications for trading, research, and risk management.  
- Collaborate with traders, researchers, and quants to design scalable and efficient software solutions.  
- Build automation tools that enhance trading workflows and optimize research capabilities.  
- Deploy, test, and iterate rapidly to drive continuous improvements.  
- Balance trade-offs between latency, throughput, scalability, and maintainability.  

Your Responsibilities Will Include: 
- Writing clean, efficient, and scalable Python code.  
- Enhancing quantitative research infrastructure, including back-testing frameworks and distributed computing tools.  
- Building tools for trade analysis, visualization, and automation.  
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud-based data processing solutions.  
- Working with numerical computing frameworks like Pandas, NumPy, and Dask.  
- Managing containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.  
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth communication between engineers and traders.  

About You:
- 5+ years of professional experience in Python software development.  
- Strong background in numerical computing and data processing.  
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.  
- Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks such as Dask or Spark.  
- Passion for problem-solving and technical innovation.  
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.  
- Financial industry experience is not required, but curiosity and a drive to learn are essential.
