About the Role

The Property & Health sectors are a targeted growth area of ANZ’s Business and Private Bank strategy, backed by a supportive, results-driven leadership team and investment in new systems and technologies. This is a great opportunity to take the next step in your commercial banking career, setting yourself up for the many pathways within our commercial division or into other areas of ANZ such as our institutional bank. 

Working with a dedicated Assistant Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of customers predominantly in the Property & Health industries, to drive growth through acquisition, increasing share of wallet and referrals.

Role Type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract, Full-Time 
Role Location: Level 17, 111 Eagle Street Brisbane QLD 4000
Work Hours: 40hrs/week 

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Relationship Credit Manager, you will:

• Managing a portfolio of Property customers with a customer-centric approach  
  


• Collaborating with Product Partners and the broader credit team to structure deals  
  


• Building valued relationships with operations teams to build efficiencies and minimise non lending losses  
  


• Applying strong credit and industry portfolio analysis skills towards credit proposal recommendations  
  


• Managing compliance and assessing both new and existing transactions  
  


• Adhering to Group Audit requirements, meeting QA and Audit compliance standards, and ensuring all matters raised are addressed in a timely and efficient manner  
  


• Working closely with lending services to minimise provisions  
  


• Demonstrating mastery of your specialisation, skills and capabilities within the Commercial mid-market & specialist segment domains  
  


• Developing and maintaining a strong awareness of the relevant property industry, key trends, economic trends and market forces.  

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: 

• Ability to build long-term client relationships supported by best of class customer satisfaction outcome  


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage C-suite executives, business owners, and financial decision-makers.  


• Strong understanding of Commercial mid-market banking products (e.g., working capital financing, trade finance, cash management, trade facilities) and ability to analyse financial statements,  


• Ability to identify financial opportunities for clients and recommend appropriate banking products and services.  


• Ability to negotiate and structure complex and customised banking deals.  


• Proficiency in evaluating the credit risk and managing the lending process, including structuring credit facilities.  


• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk management principles and how to mitigate risks  


• Experience in leading teams, and ability to work with senior management Problem-Solving
