Join the Smithton AG Warehouse Team

Join our friendly and growing team as a Senior Rural Sales Assistant in Smithton, TAS. In this role, you will be part of a small, close-knit team on site and over 3,000 colleagues across Australia.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing genuine customer service and assisting customers with pricing and product queries.

• Processing point of sale (POS) transactions.

• Assisting with store setup and merchandise displays.

• Receiving inwards goods, unpacking orders, and deliveries.

• Performing general banking tasks.

• Occasionally performing heavy lifting tasks.

About you 

• Experience in retail and a strong understanding of rural farming, or similar.

• Excellent communication, customer service, and ability to build strong relationships.

• Exposure to stock control is advantageous but not essential.

• Proficiency in using computer software, including MS Office.

• Forklift license is desirable but not essential
