Job Description - Senior Sales Executive - Australia

Business Development
Execute business development strategy and plan, both short and long range, to ensure achievement of sales targets, growth in profits and expansion of company services.
Research, analyse and monitor financial, technological and demographic factors so that market opportunities can be capitalized on and effects of competition may be minimized.
Plan, oversee and execute the organization's brand building and promotional activities.
Identify potential market segments/verticals.
Identify prospects and establishing contact with prospects .
Make sales presentations to key decision makers, effectively sell the capabilities and credentials of organization.
Identify client business needs, make proposals for customer solutions.
Identify & generate business from new accounts, enhance business from existing accounts.

Negotiate and closing business.
Achieve revenue and contribution targets, build credibility & gain market share.
Determine bid price on the basis of project cost estimation, external environment/ competition and as per the contribution norms.
Ensure customer satisfaction by achieving delivery and service quality norms.
Ensure collection of payment as per agreed terms with the customer.
Identify prospective alliance partners and enter into strategic alliances.
Initiate process improvement and ensure compliance to quality standards.

Customer Satisfaction
Assess and meet customer expectations.
Build, develop and maintain relationship with customers.
Timely and effective communication with the customers.

Team Work
Actively participate in problem solving and decision making.
Cooperate and function well with team members in achieving group goals and objectives.
Inspire team members to achieve high standards of performance.

Competencies
Strong strategic thinking with excellent analytical, interpersonal, operational and leadership skills.
Should be a sales professional with relevant experience in customised software solutions.
Should have a thorough understanding / appreciation of software service business.
Should have experience in software contract negotiations and a good track record of selling solutions.
Should have global market intelligence, knowledge of competitors¿ products and future business plans.
Should be well networked and should have dealt/interacted successfully with leading Government and Corporate organizations and built good relationships with them.
Should possess good account management, communication and selling skills.
Should be highly motivated and target oriented.
Exposure to CMM and Six Sigma processes.
