Senior Scrum Master - Finance Transformation

12-month contract role for a Senior Scrum Master in Insurance Your new company
We are partnering with a leading financial services organisation to hire a Senior Scrum Master to support a major Finance Transformation program within the Finance & Advisor Centre of Excellence (COE). This role will lead delivery across two key squads:

• FP&A Squad - delivering automated planning, forecasting, and management reporting solutions
• DI&R Squad - building a governed finance data platform to enable automated reporting and near real-time financial insights

You'll work closely with Delivery Leads, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to support delivery across complex, fast-paced initiatives in a highly regulated environment.

Your new role
This team needs a pragmatic Senior Scrum Master who can balance agile delivery with the planning, governance, and predictability expectations of finance stakeholders. The ideal person will:

• Be flexible in their agile approach rather than overly prescriptive
• Build confidence with Product Owners and business stakeholders
• Operate effectively in hybrid agile/waterfall environments
• Manage delivery across 2-3 squads simultaneously
• Bring strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven Senior Scrum Master experience within Financial Services
• Experience supporting large transformation programs
• Previous experience in Finance projects will be highly regarded.
• Strong delivery and stakeholder management capability

What you'll get in return
This is a 12-month contract with a large Insurance organisation. It offers $1000 + super per day (day rate). Located in Barangaroo, you'll enjoy a hybrid working environment (2-3 days in the office).
