Senior Software Engineer - Room for Advancement

Black6 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in software development and team leadership. The role focuses on leading innovative software projects' technical and design aspects. Skills And Experience:

• Language Proficiencies
  • C/C++
  • C# (.NET)
  • JavaScript, HTML/CSS
  • Python
• Sound understanding of System Architecture design and implementation. 
• Databases: PostgreSQL, NoSQL
• Strong understanding of data structures and data-oriented algorithms.  
• Experience with version control tools (e.g. Git).
• 3+ years in a Lead Programmer or leadership role. 

Desired Requirements

• Experience working within a start-up environment.
• Experience in backend software development – API development 
• Simulation Development experience (Prepar3D) 

Requirements:

• Must have, or be capable of attaining, at least a Baseline security clearance (or equivalent clearance, recognised by the Australian Government, for non-Australian citizens).  Note: Higher security clearance may be required for specific work duties.
