Position Overview
This role is for a highly skilled and experienced Senior C++ Software Engineer. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing advanced real-time simulations that are transforming the healthcare landscape. You will work on challenging projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the development of high-performance, reliable, and scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of applications using C++.
• Collaborate with other engineers to deliver high-quality software.
• Design software taking design considerations and scalability into account
• Fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, integrating them into our projects where applicable
• Contribute to the overall software architecture and technical strategy of the company.
• Able to work in a remote-first environment with ability to collaborate with peers using real-time technologies. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Significant professional experience in C++ software development.
• Previous experience in the commercial delivery of software is essential.
• Expertise in C++11 with an understanding of C++ features and best practices
• Solid understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures
• Experience with multi-threading, real-time systems, and performance optimization.
• Experience within the 3D space with an understanding of Unreal Engine would be useful but not essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proven leadership and mentorship experience

  
This role can be done 100% remotely but candidates would need to be based in Australia.
