Job Description - Senior Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a high-performing environment delivering complex, enterprise-wide technology solutions.

In this role, you will provide architectural leadership across end-to-end solution design, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks, technology standards, and strategic objectives. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and future-focused solutions in a rapidly evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end solution architectures aligned to enterprise standards and strategic direction
Provide architecture leadership across projects, working closely with analysts, developers, and other architects
Produce high-quality solution designs, integration designs, and functional specifications
Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned to target reference architecture and technology principles
Collaborate with SMEs, Project Managers, and stakeholders to define and scope solutions
Contribute to business cases, proposals, and technology roadmaps
Support architecture governance, including presenting at architecture review boards
Provide guidance on complex production and deployment issues
Contribute to architecture repositories and continuous improvement of architecture practices

Key Requirements

Extensive experience as a Solution Architect within complex enterprise environments
Strong experience designing end-to-end architectures across applications and integrations
Proven ability to lead solution design and provide technical guidance across delivery teams
Experience across one or more of the following:
- APIs and integration platforms
- Digital platforms / portals / DXP
- Identity and access management
- Case management or workflow solutions
- Low-code platforms
Experience working across multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365)
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience contributing to architecture governance and standards
Must be able to obtain Baseline

Highly Regarded

TOGAF certification
ArchiMate certification
Experience with platforms such as Dynamics 365, .NET, SharePoint, Databricks, or integration tools (e.g. Boomi)
Exposure to legacy environments and modernisation initiatives
Experience working within Agile delivery environments
