Job Description - Senior Sonographer

Company Overview:

Join South West Sydneyâs leading radiology provider, operational since 2002. They are a radiologist-owned, management-led, and staff-empowered organisation with six clinics. Their fast-growing company offers excellent career progression opportunities.

Workflow and Culture:

Patient bookings are managed per room, tailored to the capabilities and training needs of the rostered team.

Patients are scanned based on reverse arrival times, with folders picked from a common ultrasound tray.

Emphasis on teamwork and mutual support among sonographers.

No incentive payments, maintaining high-quality output from doctors and staff.

Benefits

Base Salary: $148,200 - $158,080

Hourly Rate: $75 - $80 per hour

Annual Bonuses:

Christmas Bonus: $500 - $1,000

Anniversary Gift: $200

Birthday Gift: $50

Professional Development:

Conference Expense Reimbursements: One weekâs wages (pre-tax)

Conference Leave: $589 (~$750 pre-tax value)

Additional Leave Loading: 20% ($2356, equivalent to another 4 days pay)

Total Compensation:

Excluding Super: ~$154,000 - $164,000

Including Super: ~$170,000 - $181,000

Employment Conditions:

Type: Permanent Full Time (Part Time available, Friday compulsory)

Hours: 38 hours per week

Leave: As per Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020

Super: As per legislation

Probation Period: 3 months

KPI: Minimum of 18 patients per day (Senior Sonographer)
