Think you’ve got the skills to run a high-energy, high-volume kitchen and still plate up quality every time? We’re on the hunt for a Senior Sous Chef to be our Head Chef’s right-hand legend at Northern Grounds.

We’re not your average pub... this is a flagship Sunshine Coast venue serving smoky, fire-kissed feeds, fresh local flavours, and waterfront vibes that are pure Queensland. Now we need a leader in the kitchen who can keep the standards sky-high while the pace is pumping.

If you’re ready to step up, lead with energy, and be part of something epic, this is your shot.



What you’ll be doing:

• Running the pass and leading the crew when the heat is on (literally 🔥)
• Keeping food quality sharp, consistent, and on point in a busy kitchen
• Backing up the Head Chef with ordering, stock, and day-to-day ops
• Mentoring the up-and-comers and keeping the team vibe strong
• Helping drive creativity, efficiency, and good times in the kitchen

About you:

• Proven chops as a Sous or Senior Sous in a high-volume, high-quality venue
• A cool head and steady hands when it’s buzzing
• Leadership skills that get the team pumped and performing
• Passion for fresh flavours, consistency, and big Queensland-style feeds
• Reliable, organised, and hungry for the next step in your career
