Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineer

Our client URGENTLY requires a Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineer for a 12 months + Contract in Canberra.

The Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for deploying, configuring, managing and tuning the department’s storage systems at physical and virtual layers.

Skills and Experience required includes:

• Must have experience working in large complex ICT environments and the ability to produce design, build and operations documents for processes and procedures.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the design, administration, tuning and troubleshooting of one or more of the following storage systems:
• HPE 3PAR, Primera, Alletra Storage Systems
• NetApp E-Series
• Dell Data Domain
• Brocade Fabric Switches
• SANnav
• Scality Artescants
• Experience / Knowledge of Veeam Backup and Replication
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills to work with skilled technical people, including making presentations to staff and stakeholders and coaching staff.

Government experience would be highly advantageous.
