The Opportunity

As the Senior Stores Person, you will always demonstrate day-to-day activities and productivity of the team, ensuring efficient inventory management and order processing. You'll be a key player in supporting the stores team providing guidance and training and ensuring smooth operations. This is a full-time position reporting to the Stores Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve:

• Demonstrating and mentoring the stores team

• Overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures

• Monitoring stock levels and conducting regular cyclic counts and stocktakes

• Ensuring accuracy in the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods

• Handling order processing, from placement to picking and packing

• Addressing customer inquiries and resolving team conflicts

What Makes You a Great Fit

• A strong background in warehousing and leadership

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• The ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of inventory management principles and software

• A valid Forklift License

• Physical fitness and the ability to lift 15-20kg

• Experience with MRP & ERP systems is essential, and an HR Licence is a plus!
