The role:
I'm looking for a commercially-minded, relationship-driven Senior Partnerships Manager to join a dynamic team supporting a high-performing Financial Services portfolio.
In this role, you'll take full ownership of a portfolio of strategic financial services partnerships - including both major institutions and challenger brands. You'll be responsible for managing and growing existing partnerships, negotiating commercial terms, identifying new opportunities, and leading initiatives that deliver value for both the business and its partners.
Working cross-functionally with stakeholders from marketing, technology, product, legal, and finance, you'll play a key role in driving innovation and commercial outcomes across cards and non-cards products.
Specifically, you will:
Provide end-to-end management of strategic partnerships within a growing co-branded financial services portfolio
Lead commercial negotiations, including modelling and contract execution
Develop and implement partnership strategies to deliver on business objectives
Identify and onboard new partners and revenue opportunities
Build strong relationships with both external and internal stakeholders
Report on partnership performance and key business metrics
Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture
Ideal Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience operating in large, complex corporate environments, with a background in commercial, finance, strategy or consulting
Exposure to financial services, loyalty, rewards or retail banking environments (particularly personal lending or credit cards) highly regarded, though not essential
Strong commercial acumen, including experience in commercial modelling, understanding P&L drivers, and working within revenue-generating business areas
Proven experience in business development, including building business cases and proposals for strategic partner opportunities
Demonstrated success in strategic partnership management, stakeholder engagement and commercial negotiation
A collaborative, innovative and solutions-focused approach, with a strong sense of ownership and drive to deliver results
What's in it for you:
The opportunity to work with one of Australia's most well-known and respected brands, in a collaborative, innovative and high-performing team
Exposure to a wide range of high-value, strategic financial services partnerships
The chance to make a tangible impact in a role with both strategic and commercial scope
Ongoing professional development and growth opportunities
Competitive salary package including bonus and exceptional benefits
Hybrid, flexible and inclusive work environment
Excellent leader who will support you in navigating the business and stakeholders
