Senior Structural Designer

To support our ongoing growth, we are seeking talented and highly motivated Senior Structural Designers to join our team. The individuals will be responsible for the design and development of our growing portfolio of bulk materials handling projects across the quarry and mining sectors.

Your responsibilities include:

• Undertaking Structural design tasks from concept through to construction documentation
• Complete 2D/3D design deliverables
• Provide regular project updates, raise issues/concerns and attend team and project meetings as required
• Work in conjunction with a range of stakeholders (Leads, junior designers and engineers from a range of disciplines)
• Assist in overall project delivery through management and procurement

The ideal candidate: 

• In depth knowledge of structural design
• Provide innovative layout concepts to challenging problems
• Knowledge of steel fabrication and construction practices
• Workshop/hands on experience is viewed favourably
• Competent in one or more recognised CAD systems, Tekla is highly advantageous
• Bulk materials handling design experience 
• Will consider an innovator with 3D modelling experience from a shop detailing environment
