Salary: UOM 6 - $100,847 - $109,163per annum (pro rata for part-time)

Your next career opportunity 

As the Senior Students@Work Program Officer, you will lead the delivery and innovation of the award-winning Students@Work internship program, connecting students with meaningful on-campus employment opportunities. This newly created, dedicated role will reinvigorate the program’s delivery: bringing fresh ideas, improving processes, and ensuring an excellent end-to-end experience for students and hiring teams. 

Your experience in the early careers space, ability to manage high-volume recruitment, and confidence communicating and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders will ensure you hit the ground running. If you’re someone who’s looking for the chance to enhance student employability and engagement while gaining valuable experience in program management and stakeholder collaboration, then this role is for you. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Coordinate Program Delivery: Manage end-to-end operations of the Students@Work Internship Program, including recruitment, onboarding, and compliance. 

  • Collaborate for Professional Development: Work with internal and external teams to deliver frameworks that develop transferable skills for interns. 

  • Drive Innovation and Improvement: Analyse feedback to enhance practices and processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards. 

  • Build Stakeholder Networks: Foster strong relationships across the University to support program growth and compliance. 

You may be a great fit if: 

You will bring your expertise in HR principles and program management to lead innovative internship initiatives, utilising your communication skills and collaborative approach to enhance student employability and university engagement. 

You may also have: 

  • Have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience in HR and early career programs. 

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences. 

  • Possess experience in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines and evaluating outcomes. 

  • Excel in building effective relationships with stakeholders to achieve program objectives. 

  • Be proactive, innovative, and committed to exceeding expectations and achieving shared goals.
