Senior Systems Engineer - Leading Industry Pay

• 12 + 6 Month Federal Government Contract
• ACT, Civic location, hybrid working (2 days WFH)
• NV1 clearance mandatory

The Information Services Branch of our Federal Government Client is seeking to engage a Senior System Engineer who will be assigned to various system design, implementation, support and maintenance projects. The person will be part of the Technology Projects Team and assigned to mostly infrastructure related projects and BAU project activities.

The ideal candidate will have the below experience:

Essential

• Windows Server and Active Directory - design, implementation and optimization.
• VMWare ESX - implementation and optimization.
• Exchange - implementation and optimization.
• Automation and scripting e.g PowerShell
• ICT Infrastructure and platform management.
• Administration of Azure Cloud Tenancy infrastructure.
• Minimum 8 years' experience as a Systems Engineer.
• Citrix StoreFront and Virtual Apps - design, implementation and optimization.
• MS SQL - design, implementation and optimization.
• Knowledge and integration of Network Architecture: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls.
• Security relating to security accreditation and ICT infrastructure technologies eg web and mail filtering.
• Assist the development of computer systems architecture.
